Role overview

The primary focus of this role is to provide executive support across the Hastings’ Ancillary portfolio. Using MI and data to monitor performance and trends whilst coordinating the change agenda for ancillary products to drive long term profitability: delivering fair value whilst acting in the best interests of our customers

Job details
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of daily, weekly and monthly management information (MI) and reports. Compile and deliver insight and analysis on ancillary performance - monitoring trends and identifying potential commercial of consumer outcome risks
  • Support the undertaking of annual product reviews and value assessments across our ancillary products
  • Liaise with external partners and underwriters to ensure delivery of agreed action plans
  • Ownership and support in the delivery of change initiatives, including version control, working with stakeholders from across the organisation
  • Identify and contribute in the ideation of initiatives across the ancillary product suite
  • Creation and maintenance of process maps whilst identifying opportunities for improvement and automation
  • Support the rectification of any operational issues engaging with colleagues across the business and third party partners
  • Develop market horizon scanning and competitor analysis, identifying trends and potential improvements to products and services
Essential skills/experience
  • Numerate and analytical with the ability to analyse multiple data sources and draw conclusions
  • Strong Communication skills with the ability to present to and influence key stakeholders
  • Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team, often a virtual team
  • Able to think strategically, identifying and clearly articulating new ideas
  • Comfortable working under pressure and with competing deadlines and priorities
  • Experience in the UK general insurance industry or similar highly regulated environment.
