Job Overview

My client are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across various television sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, schematics, and equipment repair, with opportunities to demonstrate leadership in project management and team coordination. Duties
  • Install, service, and repair air conditioning units and related HVAC equipment in commercial buildings.
  • Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of air conditioning systems.
  • Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate installation and repairs.
  • Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and equipment, then implement effective solutions promptly.
  • Lead small teams during installation or repair projects, providing guidance and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with construction teams during building projects to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly into new structures.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for future reference.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times during operations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in mechanical knowledge related to air conditioning systems and HVAC maintenance.
  • Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and wiring layouts confidently.
