Job summary

A care service provider is looking for a Care Assistant in Nottingham to empower residents and ensure their wellbeing. Responsibilities include aiding mobility, completing domestic tasks, and personal care. Candidates must have proven experience and mandatory training in relevant areas. The role offers £12.35 per hour with additional holiday pay, working Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 22:00. This position does not support VISA applicants.

Qualifications

  • Mandatory training in Safeguarding, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control necessary.

Exciting new job opportunity for a Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant, you will work to empower residents to remain as independent as possible in their daily routines. You will aid their mobility and nutritional needs, whilst ensuring that physical and psychological wellbeing is the utmost priority.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Completing domestic tasks
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Taking responsibility for promoting the welfare of the adults in your care
  • Personal care
  • Assisting with feeding/bathing/dressing

Requirements
  • You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
  • Have a checkable work history
  • Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
  • Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you

This is an ongoing opportunity.

You will be working from Monday to Friday, starting at 14.00 finishing at 22.00.

You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.35 per hour, plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
