A precision tooling company in the Worcester area is seeking a CAD Engineer to design tooling for casting and wax modelling. The successful candidate will create detailed designs using CAD software and collaborate with CNC Programmers and Toolmakers. Qualifications

• Familiar with CAD software to produce detailed designs.
• Experience with CNC manufacturing processes is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design tooling for casting and wax modelling.
• Produce designs using Unigraphics/Siemens NC CAD software.
• Create technical drawings and models for manufacturing.

Skills

Familiar with CAD software (preferably Unigraphics / Siemens NC)

Familiar with CNC manufacturing processes

Familiar with injection moulding processes

Close attention to detail

Ability to work under own initiative

Education

HNC/HND or an engineering degree
