Job summary

A leading Aerospace & Defence organisation is seeking a Buyer to join their procurement team in Bath. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supplier engagement, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and delivers high-quality purchasing support. Key responsibilities include issuing RFQs, negotiating quotations, managing POs, and conducting supplier performance reviews. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and procurement experience, preferably in Aerospace/Engineering. The position offers hybrid working and a competitive pay rate.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in Aerospace/Engineering.
• Confident working with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Issue RFQs and manage supplier responses.
• Review and negotiate quotations.
• Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs).
• Conduct supplier performance reviews.
• Manage invoices and resolve discrepancies.
