What you will do

  • Act as a technical authority in the Children & Families Team, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Assess and manage risk with precision and confidence, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families.
  • Drive practice improvements by directly developing team members and actively participating in process mapping, procedure specification, and strategy development.
  • Handle complex cases to maintain your credibility and experience within the field.
  • Collaborate with Assistant Team Managers and Principal Social Workers to align with the core objectives of the Advanced Practitioner role.

Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent in social work.
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Significant frontline experience working within UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker.
