Qualifications

Job description

Job Title: Adults Clinical Psychologist

Location: Care First - Pheasey, Walsall area, Birmingham. The Clinical Team supports services across Walsall, Kings Norton, and surrounding sites.

Salary: Up to GBP60,000 depending on experience plus GBP3000 Welcome Bonus (GBP1,500 after one month, GBP1,500 after probation). T&C's apply.

Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks, 37.5 hours/week.

Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle required.

We seek an experienced Clinical Psychologist to develop assessment and intervention plans for adults we support. This role offers variety and the chance to impact service development and change.

Care First aims to enhance quality of life for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health challenges, providing practical and vocational support.

About the role

Based in Pheasey, Walsall, you will join a new clinical team fostering MDT collaboration, including Speech and Language and Occupational Therapists. The team supports effective multi-disciplinary work to maximize clinical outcomes, with ongoing professional development opportunities.

Essential Criteria
  • Post-graduate doctoral qualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, forensic)
  • Registered with HCPC and BPS
  • Experience supervising Assistant Psychologists
  • Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities
  • Collaborative working skills with key partners
  • Sensitivity and conflict resolution skills
  • Continuing professional development
  • Relevant post-qualification experience with adults and children
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car
  • Data management skills for service development and projects
