Job description
Job Title and Contract

ADMINISTRATOR – Fixed term contract until July 2026. Hours of Work: 9:00am – 2:30pm Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 training days). Band D – £24,796 – £25,185. Actual annual starting salary: £14,410.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the HR Manager and School Business Manager.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage HR software systems.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and HR policy implementation.
  • Coordinate scheduling, correspondence and other office tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Highly capable and proactive.
  • Strong organisational and prioritising skills for a busy workload.
  • Excellent communication and office skills.
  • ICT literate, especially with Microsoft Word and Excel, and experienced with Google applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive, email).
  • Experience with HR software systems is beneficial; training will be provided.
  • Tactful, discreet and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
