We are currently seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-driven Transport Administrator to join our team and help ensure the smooth and efficient running of our transport operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily transport schedules, driver routes, and delivery times
  • Maintain accurate records, including vehicle logs, driver hours, and transport documentation
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal departments
  • Process delivery notes, manifests, and compliance paperwork
  • Monitor fleet compliance, including MOT, servicing, and maintenance scheduling
  • Assist in resolving transport-related queries and operational issues
  • Update internal systems with real-time delivery and vehicle information
  • Support the Transport Manager with reporting and administrative tasks

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in transport, logistics, or a similar administrative role (preferred)
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer-service abilities
  • Competent IT skills, including MS Office and transport management systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of transport legislation, driver hours, and compliance (advantageous)
