Kenect is looking for an administrative assistant for a trusted client in Pontypridd!

Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30

Cover from 19.01.2026 - 12.04.2026

Pay rate £13.26 per hour

An opportunity has arisen for a temporary position within the Social Care Charging Team which is part of the Financial Management and Accounting Division.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining the council's financial databases, processing payments & raising invoices and assisting in day-to-day workloads & office routines (including mail, scanning & electronic filing).
  • Training will be provided in terms of system processes & procedures and completion of financial tasks.
  • The roll will require a level of financial and ICT literacy.
  • Candidates would be expected to have good communications skills both written and verbal and have a keen willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of services provided by the Council's Community & Children's Services Group is desirable although not essential.

Note: This role is temporary and serves the Social Care Charging Team within the Financial Management and Accounting Division.
