IFA Administrator – Hertford (Full-Time, Monday to Friday 9am–5pm)

My client is a forward-thinking Independent Financial Planning firm with a strong reputation as a supportive and rewarding place to work. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a meticulous, organised, and proactive IFA Administrator to join their Hertford office and play a key role in supporting our clients and advisers.

About the Role

As an IFA Administrator, you will work closely with the Financial Advisers and wider team to provide efficient and accurate administrative support. This is a varied role that requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to build great working relationships. While experience in an IFA environment is preferred, they welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills who are eager to learn and develop in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to Financial Advisers and colleagues.
  • Process new and existing business in line with compliance requirements.
  • Prepare documentation and support client review meetings.
  • Handle fund switches, plan withdrawals, and obtain valuations.
  • Draft professional correspondence and respond to client queries with care and accuracy.
  • Maintain records and workflows in line with internal processes.
