At Springcare, Activities coordinators help to strengthen our care team and play an important part in enhancing the lives of our residents and improving their wellbeing.

The role
  • Every day is different in care, and as an activities coordinator your daily routines may be:
  • Organising personalised activities for residents
  • Contacting and working with third parties to arrange events such as choirs, dancing and shows, and any transport that is needed
  • Managing any activities that have been organised
  • Accompanying residents on any outings
  • Attending any meetings
  • Updating any social media platforms, newsletters, and noticeboards, with photographs and information
  • Completing any documents and updating records

Our activities coordinators have a variety of working patterns of morning, afternoons, and evenings, depending on the needs of the homes, and working patterns are based on 7 days a week. Actual hours of work would be discussed during your interview.

Experience in a similar role would be beneficial, however, full training will be provided.
