About Our Client

This growing accountancy firm in Central London works with a diverse portfolio of clients including small and medium sized privately owned limited companies, LLP's, partnerships and sole traders.

Job Description

In this role in the accounts team, up to 50% of time will be spent on year end accounts and 50% on management accounts.

  • Produce accurate draft accounts with minimal outstanding queries together with well-presented working papers, in a timely and methodical manner.
  • Prepare accounts from a wide variety of client records ranging from basic prime books and records through to computerised accounting packages.
  • Act as a key client contact for a diverse portfolio of clients, providing advice and support on financial matters.
  • Guide and review the work of trainees and junior team members, for accuracy and completeness.
  • Preparation of VAT returns.
  • Preparation of management accounts.
  • Utilise accounting software and tools to streamline operations and reporting.


The Successful Applicant

  • Fully qualified ACA or ACCA.
  • Able to demonstrate wide experience and competency in full accounts production from basic prime books and records through to computerised accounting packages.
  • Ability to multi-task and work to budgets.
  • Fully conversant with Sage and QuickBooks software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Pro-Audit, CCH and Microsoft Office Products, in particular Excel software.
