Job description

Rio Group is seeking a highly capable, ethical, and experienced of Accounts & Finance to lead the financial operations across our diversified business units. This leadership position requires strong command over financial management, CashX, Tally/ERP accounting systems, automation tools, VAT & Tax regulations, and banking/L/C-related activities.

The ideal candidate will ensure financial accuracy, compliance, risk management, and effective financial reporting across all Rio Group companies.

Major Responsibilities:

Financial Leadership & Compliance

• Oversee all accounting operations across Café Rio, RioTrip, RioShop, Rio Slice & Rizik Agro
• Ensure IFRS-based financial recording, reporting & documentation
• Review and approve journal entries, vouchers, ledgers & reconciliations
• Ensure branch-wise, project-wise, and cost-center-wise reporting

Accounts Payable & Receivable Management

• Supervise vendor bill verification, GRN/MRR checking & payment scheduling
• Monitor receivables from outlets, clients, partners & RioTrip customers
• Lead reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts

Banking, L/C & Treasury Operations

• Supervise daily cashflow, fund allocation & bank ledger monitoring
• Manage L/C-related accounting entries, bank charges, interest & foreign exchange
• Work with banks for payments, collections & commercial documentation

Financial Analysis & MIS Reporting

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements
• Provide management with MIS, profitability reports & variance analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, OPEX/CAPEX review & cost optimization

Inventory, Costing & Multi-Business Coordination

• Oversee stock reconciliation for Food, Retail & Agro divisions
• Verify material consumption, wastage, and cost variance reports
• Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Commercial, Production & HR teams

Internal Control & Audit

• Ensure compliance with VAT, Tax, NBR regulations & company policies
• Support internal/external auditors with schedules and documentation
• Implement stronger internal controls and financial automation
