Overview

CMA is delighted to be recruiting for our rapidly expanding client, they require an Accounts Assistant on a perm basis to support their sales ledger and credit control department to support with systems project. This opportunity to join this fast paced and successful business.

Our Portland, Dorset based client is offering this position, you will be joining a busy finance function within this modern and dynamic business that is currently going through a Systems change, you will have the opportunity also to support in creating new processes and driving efficiencies.

What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?
  • High volume reconciliations
  • Investigating discrepancies
  • Amend and update any discrepancies, working closely with the sales ledger and credit control team
  • Rasing sales invoices
  • Working closely with the finance controller to provide up to date reporting on ledgers
  • Utilising excel to manipulate data and format for reporting.
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:
  • Confident excel user to v-look up and pivot table level
  • Worked in a previous role handling large volumes of data
  • Understanding of sales ledger processes
  • Previous finance experience
