  • Handling client payments both in person and over the phone.
  • Monitoring incoming funds and allocating payments to client ledgers.
  • Preparing and completing daily banking.
  • Producing weekly new-matter reports for department heads.
  • Processing cheque requests through the case management system.
  • Compiling time and ledger breakdowns for client distribution.
  • Reviewing and processing completion statements and invoices.

The Role
  • Handling client payments both in person and over the phone
  • Monitoring incoming funds and allocating payments to the correct client ledgers
  • Preparing and completing daily banking
  • Producing weekly new-matter reports for department heads
  • Processing cheque requests through the case management system
  • Compiling time and ledger breakdowns for client distribution

  • Supporting the finance manager and practice director with other finance-related tasks
About You
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a law firm finance department
  • Strong knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient IT skills, including strong Excel knowledge
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure
