Join our Finance Team at Teletrac Navman as an Accounts Assistant

where you'll play a crucial role in managing our UK operations.

Candidates with entry‑level accounting experience or those currently studying for their accounting qualifications are encouraged to apply. What you'll be doing:

Based at the Milton Keynes office, this entry‑level position focuses on month‑end financial reporting, reconciliations and compliance, providing you with the opportunity to learn all aspects of the accounting function, including tax, audit and statutory reporting.

Month‑End Processes
  • Assisting the Senior Accountant with the accounts close process.
  • Calculating and posting month‑end accruals and prepayments.
  • Completing balance sheet reconciliations each month in a timely manner.
  • Producing monthly revenue statements.
  • Working over weekends and bank holidays to meet month‑end deadlines.
Invoice and Payment Management
  • Processing subscriber invoices and transferring data from the portal into SAP.
  • Assisting with the raising of sales ledger invoices and supplier payments.
  • Posting and reconciling credit card payments.
  • Assisting with expenses approval and P11D preparation.
Compliance and Reporting
  • Conducting bank reconciliations for GBP and currency accounts.
  • Ensuring compliance with SOX regulations.
Project Support
  • Supporting various Finance tasks and projects as required.
Qualifications:
About you:

You’ll be based within commuting distance to our office in Knowlhill, Milton Keynes and have full rights to work in the UK.

Educational Qualifications
  • Ideally, an AAT qualification or currently studying towards it (studying towards CIMA or ACCA will also be considered).
  • or relevant accounts experience and aspiration to study.
Technical Skills
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • IT competent, including proficiency in the MS Suite and Excel (VLOOKUP).
  • Experience with SAP would be advantageous.
Work Ethic and Collaboration
  • Ability to work over weekends and bank holidays to meet month‑end deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various functions within the organisation.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Communication and Organisational Skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficient numeracy and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
