Overview

Ready for new challenge? Passionate about making a difference in your community? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Wyre Council Financial Services Team as an Accountant – Technical and Corporate Reporting.

In this role you will be a key member of the team, supporting the annual accounts closure process, overseeing the collection fund accounting, completing periodic corporate reporting, and working with the Financial Services Manager in the continuous improvement of financial management information and quality initiatives.

Requirements

Ideally you will have knowledge of statutory financial reporting requirements and financial regulations combined with experience of local authority financial accounting, although this is not essential.
