Overview

A highly reputable and successful accountancy practice near Midsomer Norton is seeking an Accountant to service a wide ranging and varied portfolio of clients, delivering year end accounts, tax, bookkeeping, VAT returns and other compliance services. You will play a key role, adding value to clients and building relationships within a growing team and firm.

Responsibilities

• Provide year end accounts preparation and tax compliance services.
• Bookkeeping, VAT compliance and other statutory/compliance services for a varied client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Develop strong client relationships and deliver value-added services.
• Collaborate with managers and directors; support and mentor junior/trainee staff in technical development.
• Assist in identifying new opportunities and contribute to the growth of the firm.

Profile / Qualifications

• You may be AAT studying or hold the AAT qualification and/or be pursuing ACCA/ACA qualifications.
• Alternatively, you may have a relevant background with 2–3 years or more of experience within a UK accountancy practice, with experience in year end accounts, tax and wider service provision to a varied client base.
• Looking for a firm and role with progression and development opportunities.

Job Offer
