Overview

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

We are working with an ambitious, well backed commercial insurance brokerage with an established regional presence. With continued growth firmly on the horizon, this role is for an experienced Commercial Account Executive to inherit a substantial portfolio of valued clients, with a book of business typically ranging between £200,000 and £500,000 depending on allocation.

The sectors covered will mainly be including professional services, engineering, construction and manufacturing but a wide experience would be welcome of course. You will be comfortable across core commercial lines such as property, casualty, combined liability and motor fleet.

The successful individual will bring proven experience in a commercial insurance Account Executive role, with a track record of managing and retaining SME and mid-market clients. Familiarity with systems such as Acturis or OpenGI, as well as a sound knowledge of FCA regulation and Consumer Duty obligations, will be vital. A Cert CII qualification (or willingness to study with full company support) is required, and a full UK driving licence with a readiness to travel locally for client visits will be expected. Additional experience within specialist sectors such as construction or manufacturing, progress towards ACII, or exposure to Lloyd’s markets will be viewed favourably.
