A leading technology firm located in Telford is seeking a Calibration Technician to perform tests, calibrations, and repairs on mechanical and analytical test instruments. The ideal candidate will have a higher education degree in a relevant technical field and experience in mechanical calibration and repair. Responsibilities include solving technical problems, ensuring accuracy in service, and communicating with customers to meet their needs. The role involves physical tasks and working collaboratively in a team environment.
Tests, calibrates/validates and repairs mechanical / dimensional, or analytical test instruments, products and modules to maintain functionality and accuracy. Service is performed on Keysight products and/or products manufactured by another company. Work is typically performed at a Keysight site but occasionally is performed at a customer location. Performs routine tasks, using prescribed procedures and technical duties that may require use of judgment. Solves a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity.
