Overview
Our Employee Benefits team plays a central role in Isio's ambition to broaden our offering beyond pensions. We are growing rapidly following the acquisition of an established employee benefits consultancy and are looking for new talent to join the team. This role offers a pathway to build knowledge in Employee Benefits and develop client-facing consulting skills as a foundation for a career in this growth area for Isio.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing innovative benefit strategies, considering cost, risk and best practice.
- Attending client meetings to understand needs and help develop benefit strategies that meet employee requirements.
- Analyzing employee data and survey results to inform benefit change recommendations.
- Supporting projects to review, change or implement employee benefits or technology and helping organisations communicate with employees.
- Researching benefits and providers and assisting experienced consultants with provider market reviews.
- Drafting employee communications and addressing employee queries related to benefits, ensuring timely responses.
- Supporting the development and updates to financial wellbeing tools.
- Assisting with the governance of client benefits (e.g., pensions).
- Developing content for seminars and workshops for employees.
- Managing projects to deliver financial coaching sessions to employees.
- Collaborating with experienced consultants to grow revenue from current clients through high-quality consultancy on Reward and Benefits.
- Contributing to new business activities, including tender submissions and pitches.
- Building effective client relationships and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Engaging in professional networking.
- Working with regulated advisers on strategic pension scheme design (trust-based and contract-based environments).
- Supporting pension trustees with regulatory requirements for defined contribution schemes and evolving DC regulations.
- Reviewing pension scheme investment strategy, including stochastic modelling, portfolio construction, and working with global fund managers to implement new mandates.
Training and Development
You'll study for a professional qualification while being trained on the job. The role includes support to achieve relevant qualifications from external bodies (e.g., PMI).
Additional support will include:
- Graduate induction with peers and senior leaders.
- Development of key personal and professional behaviours.
- Regular technical training and opportunities to broaden market knowledge within Isio.
- A buddy from day one and a Performance Manager to support progress and performance.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Completed undergraduate degree or higher by 1 September 2026 with a 2.1 or higher (final-year students on track are welcome).
- Open to applications from any subject area; some qualifications require mathematical skills and an interest in financial concepts.
- Cannot provide visa sponsorship; you must be able to work in the UK without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
