Job summary

A tutoring organization in Swindon is seeking an English, Maths and Science Tutor to provide tailored 1:1 tuition to secondary-aged young people lacking a school placement. The role is part-time (6–15 hours per week) with a pay rate of £25 per hour. Ideal candidates will hold QTS or equivalent and have experience working with SEND pupils. This is a temporary contract until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement.

Qualifications

• UK classroom teaching experience is required.
• Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils is preferred.
• Must be creative and willing to think outside of the box.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke tuition packages on a 1:1 basis.
• Plan and create tailored lessons to boost engagement.
• Work with at-risk and vulnerable learners.
