What is my role?

You will report directly to the Purchasing Manager of a Business Division within the ALE Group.

As a Specialist Buyer, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring that all purchasing assignments are executed and completed in a timely manner to support the activities of the Business Division for which you are responsible. You will also manage and develop a portfolio of EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services providers) and ODM (Original Design Manufacturers).

• The supplier selection process for new projects.
• Negotiating contracts, amendments and T&Cs with your suppliers.
• Managing and developing the commercial relationship with your suppliers.
• Continuous improvement of your suppliers\' performance.
• Identifying commercial risks and taking appropriate action to manage them.
• Managing escalations with your suppliers, EMS and ODM.
• Promoting ALE\'s Purchasing strategy and policy within the company, including production transfers where necessary.
• You will also participate in the development of the purchasing strategy for one of ALE\'s Business Divisions, and you will be responsible for managing relations with the internal partners and managers of your main suppliers (EMS, ODM, OEM).

• Are you a graduate of engineering school, ideally with a postgraduate degree in business administration or economics?
• Do you have 5 to 10 years\' successful professional experience in the telecommunications industry or in the electronics products and / or electronics manufacturing industry?
