Our client is an innovative biotech company advancing through accelerated regulatory pathways and preparing its European strategic framework ahead of market readiness.

To support this critical phase, the company is now opening a Vice President, Medical & Evidence Strategy Europe role, which will lead the European medical narrative, evidence generation strategy, and early HTA readiness for a potentially breakthrough therapy

This executive role has a direct influence on future patient access, the scientific and medical positioning of the programme in Europe, and the alignment between regulatory, clinical, and evidence-based activities across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the European medical strategy, shaping the scientific and clinical narrative that will support accelerated approval and future market readiness.
  • Build and direct the European evidence strategy (clinical, RWE, HEOR inputs) in alignment with regulatory, clinical development and global medical teams.
  • Prepare and coordinate early HTA readiness activities with EU5 stakeholders, anticipating payer expectations and evidence gaps.
  • Drive scientific engagement with European KOLs, advisory boards, expert committees, and early-access stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Regulatory Europe to align benefit–risk, safety, and evidence-generation narratives ahead of EMA and national-level discussions.
  • Provide senior medical leadership across Europe, ensuring coherence of messaging, patient-centric benefit–risk positioning, and cross-functional alignment.
Candidate Profile
  • Senior Medical Affairs / Medical Leader with significant experience in innovative biotech or advanced therapies, ideally under fast-track, conditional approval, PRIME or RMAT frameworks.
  • Demonstrated senior-level track record across Europe, with direct exposure to scientific narrative building, evidence planning and early access / HTA interfaces.Demonstrated expertise in shaping medical and evidence strategies in early access or pre-commercial environments.
  • Strong track record with EU5 scientific and medical stakeholders (KOLs, HTA interfaces, early-access bodies, academic networks).
  • Ability to articulate a clear medical and scientific narrative for accelerated regulatory and future access pathways.
  • Strategic, influential, able to operate in a high-growth, high-expectation transatlantic environment.
  • Based in Europe (France, Belgium, Switzerland, UK, Germany - flexible location).
