Overview

Job Summary: Oversees the operations by assigning tasks to the technical team and running the daily operations on the dock with the help of task management systems. Manages the dockhands in their related duties such as securing boats to docks, connecting and monitoring utility services, and boarding and deboarding charter guests. Assists the Parts manager in his duties and supervises the workshop area. Provides the highest level of customer and guest services, and expedites any requests from charter guests to have the vessels ready for charter. Routinely operates, motor, and water vehicles and other various mechanized equipment. Leadership, Problem-solving, and decisiveness are critical for success in this role.

Description of Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the team; assignment of boats to be pre-boarded, boarded, and deboarded with the clients.
• QA on the work executed by the dockhands.
• Plans slip assignment, departure, and arrival of the fleet.
• Enforce all SOPs and Policies defined by the company.
• Maintain a clean and organized dock and workshop.
• Work in collaboration with the Parts Manager to order necessary supplies to keep operations going.
• Reviews all charter deboarding briefs and enters them in the task management software.
• Regular inspections of all vessels in the fleet, report any work or anomalies in the task management system.
• Ability to work independently to achieve goals and targets.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department, and corporate goals.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
