Scaleway’s engineering velocity is accelerating, and our Developer Tools ecosystem needs a strong, technically versatile Tech Lead to guide its next phase of growth.
Your mission: elevate our DevTools, support multiple engineering tribes, guarantee high software quality, and ensure an excellent Developer Experience across all our tools (CLI, Terraform provider, SDKs, automation tools…).
This role sits at the crossroads of engineering, developer experience, community interactions, and technical leadership.
You won’t manage infrastructure or on‑call operations — instead, you will drive software quality, mentoring, architecture, tooling, code reviews, and developer success at scale.
Team rituals include daily syncs, heavy collaboration around code reviews, and continuous improvement loops. The culture is kind, autonomous, supportive, with a strong appetite for craftsmanship. Work environment: no on‑call, no production environments, no ops stress — pure software engineering, developer experience, and tooling.
We offer up to 3 days of remote work per week.
