Job Description

The Supplier Performance Managers team manages supply chain and quality performance of Safran Ventilation Systems suppliers, ensuring cohesion of improvement actions initiated by all stakeholders (Quality, Purchasing, Supply).

  • Follow and manage the quality and logistics performance of a panel of suppliers from selection to production.
  • Establish an action plan with the supplier to identify causes of non-performance and correct dysfunctions.
  • Ensure coherence of improvement actions initiated by all supply‑chain stakeholders.
  • Measure and communicate the overall performance (Supply‑Chain OTD and Quality PPM) internally and externally via scorecards and steering meetings.
  • Define and pilot the monitoring plan, based on risk analyses carried out with supplier‑relationship stakeholders. Plan and pilot quality audits, capacity evaluations, and supplier assessments.
  • Formalize with the supplier a risk analysis and associated actions to master supplier risks (PCA, run@rate, roadmap, …).
  • Drive the industrial maturity development of the supplier panel.
  • Coordinate supplier‑relationship stakeholders.
  • Participate in supplier evaluation and pre‑selection actions, bringing an industrial perspective.

This role allows you to broaden your industrial culture by discovering varied manufacturing processes and activities.

You will also manage supplier action plans to improve and maintain performance, demonstrating influence across supplier directions with full autonomy in prioritizing.

Support suppliers to enhance competitiveness (SD) by:

  • Participating in procurement policy definition and target supplier panel identification.
  • Contributing to the implementation of selected procurement policies for concerned families.
  • Leading benchmark actions to sustain best Supplier Development practices.
  • Ensuring that retained suppliers implement plans that continuously and sustainably raise their maturity, guaranteeing Safran the expected and progressively improved cost, quality and delivery performance.

During production ramp‑up, coordinate with internal and external actors to achieve suppliers' capacity objectives.

Job Requirements

Strong industrial experience related to production, supply chain, procurement, quality, and/or risk analysis.

Dynamic with strong leadership, capable of quantitatively modeling supplier performance aspects, proposing or critiquing action plans and following them with supplier management.

Excellent communication, autonomy, methodological and synthesis skills are essential.

Ability to assess supplier industrial maturity, detect risks, and anticipate corresponding action plans.

Strong influence capability; recognized experience in this function is valuable. Excellent internal and supplier relations. Ability to negotiate in French and English.
