Overview

About the Role Private Discuss, the sovereign communication platform (videoconferencing, messaging, chat, collaboration) trusted by governments and critical industries, is scaling globally.

We are looking for a high-level Strategic Pre-Sales & Deployment Engineer to support worldwide deployments. Working directly with our CTO, you will lead client-facing technical operations from the pre-sales stage to successful rollout in high-security, high-stakes environments. You will be on the frontline of strategic projects across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and beyond, acting as a trusted partner and technical shield for our most sensitive clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales & Executive Technical Interface
• Represent Private Discuss in front of senior client stakeholders (CISO, CIO, Security teams)
• Qualify technical needs, assess infrastructure constraints, and design tailored deployments
• Draft technical proposals, architecture docs, and security responses for RFPs and tenders
• Provide authoritative guidance on compliance (SecNumCloud, GDPR, Cloud Act…), encryption, and sovereign hosting

• Global Deployment & Technical Rollout
• Lead and coordinate deployments worldwide (on-premise, private cloud, hybrid)
• Configure systems, manage user roles, access controls, encryption keys, etc.
• Interface with client IT teams, secure hosting providers, and local integrators
• Guarantee flawless onboarding, performance, and cyber-resilience

• Client Protection & Trust Engineering
• Be the guardian of the client in every technical decision
• Translate complexity into clarity, anticipate risks, and de-escalate tensions
• Build long-lasting trust through precision, reliability, and proactive problem-solving

Your Profile

Technical Background

• Deep knowledge of secure IT infrastructure (servers, firewalls, DNS, VPN, proxies…)
• Comfortable with encryption protocols, authentication, access governance, and zero-trust architecture
• Strong grasp of cybersecurity frameworks: ISO, SecNumCloud, NIST, ANSSI standards
• Bonus: experience working in sensitive or regulated environments (energy, defense, finance, government)

Interpersonal Excellence

• Executive-level communication skills (verbal and written)
• Confident, articulate, and empathetic under pressure
• Capable of working across cultures and time zones, with high resilience and autonomy

Education & Language

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, IT Architecture or equivalent
• Fluent in English and French; proficiency in additional languages such as Arabic, Spanish, or German is a valuable asset
