Role Description

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you'll ensure our services are designed, deployed, and operated at scale with high availability and performance. You'll collaborate with development teams to build and maintain infrastructure and tooling that underpin our platform's reliability, driving innovation and operational excellence.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  1. Develop shared services to enhance Worldline’s velocity and innovation.
  2. Integrate community products into our ecosystem.
  3. Create tooling using scripting or advanced programming languages.
  4. Collaborate and share knowledge within the team.
  5. Support business migrations to our new infrastructure using automation and CI/CD.
  6. Manage and improve shared services for availability, scalability, and efficiency.
  7. Build reliable, resilient production systems.
  8. Enhance automation stacks and CI/CD pipelines.
  9. Document technical and user processes.
  10. Perform daily operational tasks including change management and monitoring.
  11. Ensure security from the outset, especially in the payment industry.
Qualifications
  • Academic or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of Linux experience in a high-availability environment.
  • Self-motivated and autonomous.
  • Development and scripting skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Experience with storage products (HPE, HDS, NetApp, PureStorage) and block/file storage systems.
  • Experience with version control (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket), automation tools (Puppet, Terraform), scripting (bash, python, puppet), and network protocols.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, GoLang, Perl).
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.), multi-DC setups, hybrid infrastructure, and security standards (PCI-DSS).
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of service discovery in micro-frontend architecture.
  • Previous SRE or operational role experience.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Understanding of cloud security and compliance.
