Where will you be in the organization?

The division & department / team

Under Group IT Services Distributed Products, The “Storage” product aims at delivering best in class Storage capabilities ( SAN – Sunset Product, NAS, Hyperconverged ) for AXA GO and the entities.

As a member of this team you are responsible for the engineering and the operations of new solutions regarding Storage Technologies and its ecosystem, working in a global mode with all the regions

As part of its new Cloud Transformation program (ATLAS), AXA GO has decided with the AXA entities to modernize the remaining footprint hosted in the regional datacenters, to be able to support the workloads that are not eligible to the Public Cloud.

About the job

Job purpose

1- Storage Infrastructure Management

• Design and deploy Network-Attached Storage (NAS), and cloud-based storage solutions.
• Configure volumes, and storage tiers based on performance needs.
• Optimize storage performance through tuning and load balancing.
• 24/7 on duty and Early morning Organization.
• Provide and share documentation ( LLD, Procedure, Process …)

2- Data Protection & Backup

• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to prevent data loss.
• Work with backup solutions in needed.
• Develop replication strategies across data centers for business continuity.

3- Storage Security & Compliance

• Implement encryption, access controls, and role-based permissions to secure stored data.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and other regulatory standards.
• Monitor and prevent ransomware and unauthorized access to storage systems.
• Participate to Audit Issue Remediation.

4- Capacity Planning & Optimization

• Conduct storage utilization analysis and forecast future storage needs.
• Optimize storage efficiency with features like deduplication, compression, and thin provisioning.
• Work on automating storage management using scripts (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).

5- Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning

• Identify and resolve latency, IOPS bottlenecks, or disk failures.
• Perform firmware updates, storage patches, and system health checks.
• Work closely with network and database teams to optimize end-to-end data flow.
• Incident Management ( Resolution and communication ).

Expected skills & experience

We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:

Technical skills

• NAS NetApp storage expert – mandatory.
• Switch Broadcom knowledge – mandatory.
• NAS upgrade – mandatory.
• NAS Refresh – mandatory.
• NetApp Cloud Volume Ontap and/Or AWS FSX N skills are appreciated
• Hyperconverged solution skills are appreciated: Nutanix, VSAN.
• Proven experience in IT production environment (incident, 24H/7 on duty, early morning organization), with DRP architecture.
• Scripting skills and automation: Python, Ansible, Terraform
• Strong general knowledge in IT and Datacenter infrastructure architectures
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation. LLD, Exploitation Procedure, process, training materials
