Designing scalable, secure, and integrated ServiceNow solutions across enterprise workflows

Position Overview
We are seeking a ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead the design, governance, and implementation of enterprise workflows on the ServiceNow platform. The architect will drive strategic alignment of modules including ITSM, HRSD, ITAM, GRC, and Virtual Agent, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.

The role requires deep technical and functional understanding of the ServiceNow ecosystem, as well as strong experience in platform integrations, solution design, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the platform roadmap and architectural patterns across modules (ITSM, HRSD, ITAM, GRC, Virtual Agent)
  • Design scalable, maintainable, and secure ServiceNow solutions aligned with business requirements and platform best practices
  • Translate enterprise goals into modular solution blueprints and platform capabilities
  • Serve as technical authority for solution reviews, design sign-offs, and architecture governance
  • Establish development standards, naming conventions, and integration patterns for platform consistency
  • Lead ServiceNow upgrade planning, custom code reviews, and compatibility assessments
  • Guide implementation of Virtual Agent, automation flows, and AI-powered workflows in collaboration with product teams
  • Ensure alignment with ITIL/COBIT frameworks, security compliance (e.g., RBAC, encryption), and data governance policies
Integration & Infrastructure Oversight
  • Design integration strategies using IntegrationHub, APIs, MID Server, and external data sources (e.g., HRIS, CMDB, ERP)
  • Oversee architectural considerations for multi-instance management, Dev/Test/Prod environments, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity teams on ServiceNow hosting, access, and performance management
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and functional leads to ensure architectural alignment and business fit
  • Act as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on platform capability, risk, and optimization
  • Support pre-sales solutioning or internal stakeholder proposals, where applicable
Required Qualifications
Experience & Technical Skills
  • 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow platform design, development, and architecture
  • Strong architectural knowledge of multiple ServiceNow modules, especially ITSM , HRSD , ITAM , GRC , and Virtual Agent
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture patterns, platform capabilities, and scoped applications
  • Experience designing robust integration architectures using REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, and external identity/access systems
Strategic & Soft Skills
  • Proven leadership in technical design, platform governance, and stakeholder communication
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills for solution design and architecture reviews
  • Ability to balance technical constraints with business priorities and roadmap needs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified ServiceNow System Administrator and one or more Architect/Implementation Specialist certifications (ITSM, HRSD, GRC, etc.)
  • Familiarity with frameworks like TOGAF, ITIL v4, and enterprise architecture tools (e.g., LeanIX, ArchiMate)
  • Experience working in regulated environments or public sector transformation programs
  • Background in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow, and ATF/test strategy development
