A research organization in France is seeking a Biology Researcher to investigate the role of Usp28 in sarcomere repair and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a PhD and at least 4 years of post-PhD research experience. Responsibilities include functional screening of repair genes and phenotyping muscle-specific KO mice. This full-time, temporary contract offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge research in biological sciences.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. and 4 years of research experience post-PhD (at the time when this contract starts).
• Work on mouse genetics is needed.

Responsabilités

• Investigate the role of Usp28 in sarcomere repair and maintenance.
• Complete functional screening of sarcomere repair genes and their characterization.
• Phenotyping of Usp28 muscle-specific KO mice.
• Identify substrates of Usp28.
• Help train PhD students in the same technology.
• Support lab colleagues with primary cell culture experiments.
