This remote role requires managing relationships with major retailers across Europe, particularly Sephora. Strong leadership and at least five years in retail management are essential. Fluency in English is mandatory, with additional languages as a plus. This position involves significant travel across Europe.

Senior Key Account Manager - Westman Atelier

Role located in Paris - Remote role with International travel

KJ Talent is excited to be partnering exclusively with Westman Atelier to recruit for a Senior Key Account Manager for its European markets based from Paris.

Reporting to the EMEA General Manager, the Senior Key Account Manager will oversee brand sales and relationships across the European Markets with Sephora EU, acting as the “voice of the region” both internally and externally.

The ideal candidate will be highly strategic, ambitious, and commercially savvy. They will work cross-functionally to strengthen retail performance via involvement in the development and delivery of competitive insight driven promotional activities, events, and education materials.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Execute European region commercial strategy in alignment with global and regional business objectives
  • Manage and grow relationships with European retailers
  • Ensure realisation of sales targets by negotiating annual 360 plans
  • Develop and implement regional trade marketing plans tailored to retailers and markets
  • Oversee execution of in-store visibility campaigns, merchandising, POS materials, sampling programmes, and promotional activations
  • Identify growth opportunities by analysing sell in / sell out data, customer behaviours, and competitor activity
  • Build collaborative relationships and excellent communication with key global stakeholders, including Global Trade Marketing, Education, and Operations
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cosmetic or retail management
  • Prior experience working with Sephora is essential and, ideally, also with Douglas
  • Proven track record in managing large accounts, commercial negotiations, and market expansions
  • Strong understanding of both traditional and digital marketing channels in Europe
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience managing teams
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English, with additional European languages a plus
  • Willingness to travel across Europe
