Job Description

As part of the CIO’s Chief of Staff and VP of Special Projects team, you will help shape Ubisoft IT’s success by defining IT strategy within your scope and overseeing high-impact IT special projects. You will contribute to transversal initiatives across games, security, IT, data, and corporate applications, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. This role offers rich exposure to diverse business areas while ensuring IT strategy and projects align with Ubisoft’s strategic priorities.

Define and Drive IT Strategy

  • Develop IT strategy for your assigned scope in close collaboration with IT Directors and the Chief of Staff team. Ensure the strategy is inspiring, precise, and actionable, empowering IT teams to maximize their contribution.
  • Align IT objectives with Ubisoft’s business priorities by engaging with other departments and incorporating feedback from IT teams and leadership.
  • Assist the CIO, VPs, and Directors in shaping short-, medium-, and long-term ambitions, while ensuring consistency across the IT function.
  • Identify new opportunities in line with IT strategic priorities, and coordinate their exploration with the IT Innovation Lab.
  • Support the transition from strategy to implementation by helping define objectives, contributing to financial planning and portfolio prioritization, and supporting IT communications across Ubisoft.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process analysis and improvement activities.

Lead IT Special Projects

  • Manage projects that are strategic due to their size, impact, or value for Ubisoft IT. These projects are critical enablers of IT objectives.
  • Oversee project governance, monitor progress, and proactively identify obstacles, risks, and dependencies. Develop and implement mitigation plans, often involving executive sponsors.
  • Ensure efficient and transparent communication with all stakeholders.
  • Define the need for external resources when required, identify contributors, establish roles, and outline expected outcomes.
  • Contribute hands-on to delivery activities such as project management support, value proposition definition, and internal communication.

Contribute to Team Initiatives

  • Actively participate in team discussions on cross-functional and governance-related topics.
  • Support team members during major milestones, including executive presentations and workshops.
  • Bring insights and perspective to enrich collective work and foster a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Strategic Leadership

  • Ability to translate complex business needs into IT strategies and solution proposals.
  • Adept at stepping back to define the broader vision while diving into details to drive execution and resolve challenges.
  • Skilled in analyzing stakeholder input to distinguish actual needs from expressed demands and to synthesize actionable strategies.

Project & Organizational Management

  • Proficiency in applying structured methods, frameworks, and best practices to deliver results.
  • Experience in defining scope, estimating schedules and budgets, managing resources, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Ability to balance strategy with execution, producing clear and practical documentation where needed.

Communication & Influence

  • Fluent in French and English, with strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Experienced in engaging with C-level, VP, and Director stakeholders; able to build trust and position yourself as a strategic advisor.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders with influence and diplomacy, fostering collaboration, and drive consensus.

Risk & Value Management

  • Experienced in evaluating IT solutions and benchmarking opportunities.
  • Skilled at helping IT teams identify risks, blind spots, and maturity gaps, and supporting them in defining mitigation plans.
  • Capable of aligning investments with project maturity to ensure value realization.

Experience

  • Proven track record in analysis, process improvement, and strategic project management.
  • Experience in leadership roles such as Senior Business Analyst, Consultant, or Senior Analyst, IT Change management consultants.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments across global and local organizations.
  • Familiarity with IT project operations and agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
