The AI innovation team thrives in a fast-paced environment where rapid iteration is key. As a product engineer, you'll play a critical role in quickly developing and testing solutions, with a primary focus on gathering customer feedback as swiftly as possible to drive meaningful improvements and innovation. This team builds AI features across the entire breadth of the Front product, so the ability to quickly ramp up on unknown areas of the code will be instrumental.

What will you be doing?

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to build and enhance product features.
• Develop in a JavaScript environment, with a strong focus on TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Contribute to the deployment of AI-powered features for our users (e.g., AI Tagging, AI Answers, etc.)
• Develop features end-to-end. At times, this would be with minimal or no cross-functional involvement.

What skills and experience do you need?

Must have:

• Proven industry experience building fast, reliable, and real-time web applications.
• Product-minded: Passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences.
• Understand the trade-offs between different engineering solutions when solving a problem, value pragmatism over idealism in this role

Should have:

• Comfortable thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth environment.
• Knowledgeable about modern web technologies and a strong appetite for learning new ones (e.g., Node.js, React, Redux, TypeScript)
• Familiarity with the architectural patterns of large-scale web applications.

Nice to have:

• Experience with AI technologies (e.g., LLMs, Vector Databases, etc.).
• Rigor in A/B testing, test coverage, and modern web best practices.
• Familiarity with managing complex data models at scale.
