Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a data engineer, analytics engineer, or in a data-oriented software engineering role.
• 5+ years of experience with a scripting language (preferably Python).
• 4+ years of experience designing and provisioning data systems from pipelines to databases.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to our real-time clickstream stack, using AWS Lambda and Kinesis.
• Expand our third-party acquisition capabilities through Fivetran and custom Airflow Dags.
• Provide a dbt runtime for analysts and support them in building resilient transformations.

Dashlane is looking for a talented Senior Data Engineer to optimize our data to enable the company to scale in the coming years. Inside our Data Engineering team, you will design pipelines and warehouses to model data from multiple sources to enable analysts to derive business and product insights. Using AWS data tools and open-source technologies, such as Airflow and dbt, you will design and build our next-generation ETL pipelines and data products.

As a Senior Data Engineer you will be a key member of an international team committed to building and maintaining our data pipeline, ensuring everyone at Dashlane has access to the datasets they need to make data-informed decisions. You will work with analytics engineers and other teams at Dashlane, including Machine Learning Engineers, Product Managers, Engineers, and Marketing. Your expertise will help ensure data integrity and quality, optimize our data pipeline, and inform architectural decisions. Location

You will be based in Paris, with English as your working language. Dashlane embraces a hybrid culture combining in-person collaboration with remote work. Our model is designed to strengthen team connections while supporting productivity and work-life balance. To maximize collaboration, we come together in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays; Wednesdays and Fridays offer more flexibility for focused work.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to our real-time clickstream stack, using AWS Lambda and Kinesis
• Expand our third-party acquisition capabilities through Fivetran, Hightouch or custom Airflow Dags
• Provide a dbt runtime for analysts and support them in building resilient transformations, keeping data governance in mind for our existing ~700 models on the daily run
• Contribute to our Airflow for orchestration environments
• Create or use data quality tools to ensure our stakeholders have an accurate picture of product and business activity
• Handle the challenges of managing terabytes of data
• Eventually, build the next data-powered apps to keep the business secure and the insights accurate
• Build a scalable infrastructure on AWS using Terraform

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a data engineer, analytics engineer, or in a data-oriented software engineering role
• 5+ years of experience with a scripting language (preferably Python)
• 4+ years of experience designing and provisioning data systems from pipelines to databases
• 4+ years of experience designing databases and/or data lake tables
• Fluent in English

• Experience administering, ingesting, and monitoring data in data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift
