We Are Hiring - Senior Accountant

Industry: Construction & Logistics Operations
Location: Libya
Experience Required: Minimum 10 years

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting operations and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
• Manage cost accounting, budgeting, and project‑based financial tracking for construction projects and logistical operations
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensure timely invoicing, collections, and vendor reconciliation
• Supervise bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and daily treasury functions
• Review and manage project cost allocations, inventory accounting, and equipment depreciation
• Assist in internal and external audit preparations and tax compliance filings
• Implement and maintain effective accounting systems, procedures, and controls
• Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to ensure financial data accuracy related to shipments, imports, materials, and project expenses
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations for cost control and profitability improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/CMA is a plus
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a construction or logistics company
• Deep knowledge of project accounting, cost control, and contract billing structures
• Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, ERP systems, PIMS ) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong understanding of tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and audit procedures
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
• High attention to detail and ability to multi‑task_calls and meet deadlines in a হত্যা-paced environment
