A global semiconductor manufacturer is seeking a Sales Manager to oversee automotive customer accounts in Paris. The role involves driving sales and design-ins, maintaining customer relationships, and defining product enhancements. Ideal candidates will have an engineering degree, knowledge of electronic components, and experience in technical sales. Fluency in both French and English is essential. The position is primarily office-based with remote working options available.

Overview

Our client are a global semiconductor manufacturer.

They are looking for a Sales Manager to look after automotive customers managed by their office located in Paris.

Responsibilities
  • They would be responsible for the design-in for on-site development departments as well as for the implementation of product releases.
  • Maintain and grow business at existing automotive customers by driving new design-ins
  • Responsibility for sales budgets, sales fulfillment and design-in targets
  • Identify and materialize new business opportunities in the automotive market
  • Assist customer during design-in developments with support from product managers and field application engineers
  • Provide marketing department and product managers with consolidated customer requirements
  • Define new products and product enhancements, to pave the road for continuous future growth
Desired Experience
  • Diplome d’Ingénieur or Master 2 in electrical engineering or equivalent technical degree
  • Good understanding of electronic components and basic knowledge of electronic circuits
  • Very good command of written and spoken French and English
  • Adequate experience in the automotive market and technical sales of semiconductors or in hardware development is an advantage
  • Customer visits 20%~30% of working time
  • The position is office-based with the possibility to work partly from home
