What you’ll do
As Sales & Business Development Manager France, you will be responsible for strengthening and expanding Qserve’s market position in France, driving sales growth across all business streams, and contributing to the company’s financial performance. You will be part of an enthusiastic global sales organization and act as a key commercial partner for the French market. In this role, you will actively develop new business, manage key client relationships, identify market opportunities, and support strategic growth initiatives. You will play an important role in further establishing and strengthening the Qserve brand in the French market, in line with our strategic ambitions and cultural values. This is a remote/hybrid position, with the ideal candidate living in or around Paris, reporting to the Commercial Director. The role requires approximately 20–30% travel, mainly within France and occasionally internationally.
You will actively support the development of Qserve France through the following activities:
- Develop and implement annual sales and business development plans for France
- Proactively achieve sales targets, KPIs, and sustainable growth in revenue and market share across Qserve’s business streams (consulting, auditing, training, global registrations, legal representations and regulatory intelligence)
- Lead the acquisition of new clients in close collaboration with marketing, subject matter experts (SMEs), and management
- Identify, analyse, and communicate market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
- Develop and execute business development strategies together with management, consultants, and marketing
- Promote and further strengthen the Qserve brand and market presence in France
- Build, manage, and expand a strong network of strategic partners and key customers
- Prepare, negotiate, and manage commercial proposals and contracts for French customers, ensuring clear, accurate, and timely delivery of proposals
- Act as the primary commercial contact throughout the sales process, maintaining responsiveness and high-quality communication
- Manage new client onboarding documentation and internal processes in collaboration with Quality and Legal teams (e.g. NDAs, MSAs, supplier qualification)
- Use the customer lifecycle management (CRM) system to track leads, opportunities, quotations, sales, and ongoing customer projects
- Work closely with business unit leads, SMEs, operations, marketing, and the global sales team
- Support cross‑selling initiatives and identify growth opportunities for existing customers across regions and service lines
What you’ll bring to the team
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a scientific discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development and/or technical sales
- Proven experience selling consulting or professional services (required)
- Experience in the medical device and/or IVD industry is strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of regulatory, quality, and clinical services related to global medical device regulations and standards is a strong advantage
- Demonstrated track record of successful client engagements and long‑term relationship management
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational, planning, and time‑management skills
- Ideally based in or around Paris
- Willingness to travel 20–30%
- Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus
