A leading global transportation solutions provider is seeking a Sales Manager for the French railway sector. This role involves developing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and conducting market research to enhance business growth. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, with 5+ years of B2B sales experience and a deep understanding of railway components. In this strategic sales management position, you will establish a trusted advisor relationship with our external customers, internal teams, and industry partners. You will collaborate with Wabtec's sales and technical teams to engage key customers in the French railway sector, focusing on friction materials such as brake shoes, pads, and related components. The purpose of this role is to oversee business growth and market penetration for our friction material solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker adept in sales and business development.
Responsibilities include exploring new business opportunities in the French railway market, conducting comprehensive market research, mapping customer needs for friction material solutions, establishing local customer relationships, serving as the main interface for customers, and managing all aspects of sales accounts.
