A contract development organization is seeking a Director of Business Development to drive growth across Southern Europe. This remote role requires a candidate with proven success in business development, particularly in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. Responsibilities include acquiring new clients, managing relationships, and achieving sales targets while collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the CDMO landscape and regulatory knowledge for EU markets, ensuring strategic sales and successful project execution.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in manufacturing and development services sales within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Experience in acquiring new customers for CDMO services.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and market dynamics in Southern Europe.

Responsabilités

  • Lead business development efforts to secure new clients in designated region.
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospective and current customers.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue and margin targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution for new clients.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and pipeline status.
