POSITION: Regional Sales Manager – North West France

SECTORS: HVACR, refrigeration, air conditioning, building materials.

SALARY: 50,000 euros plus 20% bonus, company car

TERRITORY: Nantes, Rennes, Tours, Orleans, Le Mans

Our client is the global leader for mini pumps with the most reliable, installer friendly and innovative products on the market. As the business has grown so has its operational footprint with its UK Head Office and manufacturing site, they are also based in France, Germany, Italy, Australia, India, and USA.

As a result of continued growth, they are looking to recruit a new position Regional Sales Manager to be responsible for increasing sales & market share with several key accounts in North West France.

Their route to market is through a wholesaler network.

Key Responsibilities will include
  • Working with the Head of Sales to ensure close management of key wholesalers / distributors
  • Optimise the breadth of their range & increase market share with existing accounts through merchandising and training (at branch level) & ensuring their brand is high profile
  • Participate in Exhibitions, Trade Fairs, Wholesaler / Distributor branch events & sales meetings as required
  • Monitor stock levels & competitor products and activities
  • Perform regular training at wholesaler / distributor branches & to installers
Candidates’ profile, background and experience
  • Fluent in English is essential
  • Proven track record of working within a wholesaler / distributor network
  • Experience in either HVACR, construction, air conditioning, building materials sectors
  • Independent worker who is confident in using their own initiative
  • Strong commercial insight
  • Proven track record of training and sales to a wholesaler / distributor network
  • Willingness to travel frequently (anticipate 75% of time will be in the field)
