Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day personal protective security functions.
• Perform interpreter/translator duties as required.
• Drive the lead vehicle, principal's vehicle, follow-vehicle, and/or act as response agent in motorcade or similar operations.
• Maintain assigned protective formation during principal's walking movements.
• Participate in advance security preparations.
• Mans the security post at the principal's residence, command post, or other static post as required.

Qualifications:

• Must be a US citizen.
• US Passport and US State Driver's License required.
• Honorable military discharge.
• Current National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification as a Paramedic (NREMT-P).
• Valid registration (for at least 6 months) prior to and throughout deployment.
• Current approved CPR professional rescuer, ACLS, and advanced trauma training credentials (e.g., BTLS or PHTLS).
• Successfully completed the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) course or equivalent within the last 90 days.
• At least three (3) years of emergency medical services experience and three (3) years of applicable high-threat protective services experience.
• Ability to pass the contract-required physical fitness test and government training classes.

Pre-Deployment Requirements:

• Attend and complete the PSS training course.
• Qualify with specified firearms and equipment, re-qualifying as needed.
• Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance.
• Complete the WPS Physical Readiness Test at 65% performance level and maintain fitness.
• No impediments to traveling overseas to high-risk areas.
