A renewable energy company in Bordeaux is seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple solar and wind projects from origination to build readiness. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in engineering, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and strong leadership skills. Responsibilities include managing development activities, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring project timelines and budgets are met. Fluency in English is required.

Overview

Greenvolt Power is our segment dedicated to the Development & Construction of utility-scale solar and wind projects. We value local expertise and empower our partners, counting already with business presence in more than 16 countries (Europe & North America).

Greenvolt is seeking a Project Manager who will often manage multiple projects at different development stage, from origination to ready to build (RtB) status.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and control assigned Greenfield development and Co-development activities.
  • Identify potential sites where wind, solar and BESS project could be developed.
  • Support origination department in securing the land and getting municipality approval.
  • Manage the development of the project, once it enters into development and until Ready to Build status.
  • Manage all the external stakeholders that will carry out on-site studies: environmental, landscape, noise, agricultural, …
  • Manage the relationship with local municipalities, with the public and with the administration.
  • Manage project development timeline, project risks and project budget.
  • Preparation of monthly reporting for its projects.
  • Supporting M&A activities.
  • Verify and validate additions to filed Projects when requested by authorizing bodies.
  • Attend Conferences of Services organized by the authorizing bodies.
  • Ensure all that is necessary for the safe and quality development of the entrusted line of Business.
Qualifications
  • University Degree in Engineering.
