We are looking for a Product Marketing Senior Manager (M/F) who can join our multicultural team in Paris, France and who will be responsible for developing business strategies, positioning, messaging, pricing and external marketing tactics, competitive differentiation for a portfolio of products and services.

    Job description

    The role owns the understanding of the market needs and customer requirements, considering all steps of the product lifecycle and offering performance .

    • Analyzes market information and segmentation to understand our customers’ needs
    • Defines and implements business strategy for specific new products, services, and existing products
    • Aligns the product and service strategy with the GBU strategy
    • Creates and coordinates the roadmap and business cases for products and services
    • Manages a portfolio of products and services, adjusting marketing tactics as products move through their life cycle
    • Responsible for market evaluation, tracking the success and failures of new products and creating strategies to achieve success
    • Partners with Marcom to develop Messaging and Communication Blueprints for products/services
    • Interacts with customers and Sales and Business Development to ensure a good understanding of client needs and current perception of product performance
    • Analyzes competition intelligence and associated competitive strategies for product/service portfolio success
    • Identifies potential mergers and acquisitions and external technology opportunities to improve product/service portfolio offering
    • Drives product development critical decision points, including the application of a standard business case structure

    · Coordinates annual portfolio budget process

    You are meant for this role if you have :

    • Bachelors or advanced degree in business, engineering or related field
    • MBA advantageous but not essential
    • Strategy, Market, Segmentation analysis experience
    • 8+ years of experience in oil and gas industry, ideally SURF related
    • Speak, present, and write professional English
    • Creative thinker and a good listener
    • Knows how to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
    • Strong communicator with ability to articulate complex topics in a pedagogic and synthetic manner
    • Team oriented, but also independent contributor
    • Adept at building relationships and networks with internal stakeholders and clients
    • Entrepreneurial spirit and business mindset
    • Understanding of subsea equipment and installation techniques, along with contracting models and principles
    • Detailed engineering knowledge not required, but ability to challenge technical process and assumptions required
    • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI.
