A boating service company is seeking a Prep, Rep & Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs for boats. This is an on-shore position that requires a boat license and experience in boat maintenance. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and must be Mallorca-based, with responsibilities including daily maintenance and liaising with local suppliers. Competitive compensation based on experience.

• Previous boat engineering experience is a plus.
• Any additional languages are a plus.

Overview

RIB Club is looking for to fill a position for a Prep, Rep & Maintenance Technician (on-shore, year-round position). The candidate should be Mallorca-based and able to travel between Antibes (Port Galice) and Baie des Anges (potentially event Cap d'Ail).

Responsibilities

• performing daily RIB cleaning and maintenance;
• helping organize / manage various maintenance projects (surface works, engine servicing, refurbs, etc.);
• liaising with local suppliers and collaborating with them on different maintenante projects;
• refuelling;
• organizing sea trials and orientations for (prospective) members.

Requirements

• experience in boat maintenance, repairs and mechanics (previous boat engineering experience or expertise in any marine refit / refurb field is a definite plus);
• driver´s license and a personal car;
• boat licence (PER or similar);
• fluent, advanced or upper intermediate level of English;
• any additional languages are a plus.

Compensation will be in line with the candidate´s experience and skills.
