ABOUT THE TECH TEAM

As part of this role, you will be working with the Tech 4 Tech product squads across various domains, including IT Service Management (ITSM), Agile, and Portfolio Management. You will also collaborate closely with the DevSecOps product squads to drive automation, security integration, and process improvements.

Your work will involve enhancing ITSM processes, supporting Agile transformations, and optimizing portfolio management practices, ensuring alignment with business and IT objectives. You will leverage industry-leading tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Asgard to streamline workflows, improve service delivery, and enhance collaboration across teams.

By partnering with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping embed security within development pipelines and fostering an efficient, resilient IT environment.

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU

The Platform Architect complements build of technical components for a given Platform, based on their area of expertise, securing alignment with business needs & Pernod Ricard tech standards (robustness & scalability of code, data governance & security guidelines...). They manage the development of tech elements from design to maintenance & continuous improvement, and contribute to transversal tech landscape optimization initiatives, alongside other Engineers in the platform.

  • Build the required technical components for a product (increments), working in strong collaboration with the squad to select best-suited options for the feature/product, based on business needs and global standards
    • Engage with the business to understand the requirements and translate into the technical components
    • Drive technical study & feature/product design, develop relevant elements (including prototyping, configurations...)
    • Manage technical components testing (including test scenario & acceptance criteria definition...)
    • Oversee the roll-out of technical elements, to ensure effective integration within PR tech landscape
    • Work with the other technical teams to deliver the business needs
  • Drive the maintenance & continuous improvement of features/products, based on evolving tech/business needs/trends
    • Manage critical incidents with developed elements, from issue identification to problem resolution
    • Oversee processes such as upgrading ... as needed (platform changes...)
    • Monitor key metrics to identify needs for improvement, and engage the design/redesign of features with the squad
    • Provide insights on solutions/services associated with designed elements as needed (in coordination with Configuration Specialists, Service delivery team...), and contribute to initiatives aiming to maximize product adoption
  • Provide engineering best practices and bring forward new ways of thinking to improve outcomes (peer reviews, coaching...)
  • Participate in transversal engineering initiatives (market intelligence, cross-product/family initiatives...) as needed, and continuously develop their own skills based on industry trends/enterprise needs
