A philanthropic organisation in Paris is seeking a Finance and Operations Manager to lead financial strategy and build operational systems in a hybrid environment. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in finance or operations, be fluent in both English and French, and have a strong ability to simplify financial processes for diverse audiences. Finance and Operations Manager - Impact / Philanthropy – Paris (hybrid) – €80 - 100k (dependent on experience) – Must be English & French Speaking

A Finance and Operations Manager is required to join a newly established philanthropic organisation that has secured multi-million funding to shape the AI ecosystem, focusing on delivering outcomes that matter most to people and communities, with transparency and equity at its core.

As Finance & Operations Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s growth journey. From leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy to ensuring compliance and delivering clear, actionable insights, you’ll give leadership and funders the clarity they need to make smart decisions. This is a rare opportunity to take real ownership of finance in a mission-driven organisation that is scaling quickly.

On the operations side, you’ll build agile systems across HR, legal, compliance, IT, and administration—creating the structures that help a young organisation thrive while keeping the flexibility of a start up. You’ll lead on procurement, vendor management, and policy design, ensure compliance across key areas, and spot risks before they become issues. We’re looking for someone who thrives in start-up or smaller company environments, bringing hands‑on experience, adaptability, and the drive to make an immediate impact.

You must be a fluent English and French speaker
