A leading engineering company based in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support ultrasound probe development. Responsibilities include designing components and managing digital models. Candidates should have a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in industrial design, particularly within medical products. Proficiency in CAD tools such as PTC Creo or SolidWorks is essential, along with strong mechanics knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in industrial design, preferably of medical products.
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as PTC Creo or SolidWorks.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).

Mechanical engineering support for an ultrasound probe development project (EIR project)

Main Activities

• Mechanical engineering support for the EIR project
• Design of probe components and tooling for ultrasound probe assembly
• Management of 3D models and 2D drawings using digital tools
• Handling machining requests for components and tooling monitoring reception verification and release to the Process team

Required Skills

• Education : Master’s degree (Engineering level) ideally in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience : Minimum 3 years in industrial design (medical products preferred)
• Technical Expertise : Strong mechanics and micromechanics knowledge
• CAD Software : Proficiency in PTC Creo SolidWorks or other CAD tools
• PLM : Knowledge of model management tools such as Windchill PLM
• Additional Tools : Cadence AutoCAD ANSYS or Creo Simulate are strong advantages
• Language : Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Project Management : A plus

Bonus Experience

• FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) design
• Tooling design
• Experience with PDM systems and ECR / ECO processes
